I've been away from this site for a while again but I came back and had been posting some videos today, with the usual system of the video being uploaded and needing to add the tags after, same as on R34. But then I made the mistake of trying to do the same with an image.

I know that you're supposed to be able to add tags at the same time as uploading images here, same as on R34, but on this site the "predictive text" system when typing in tags *and* the "My Tags" system don't work properly when uploading images (clicking the tags just links you to a search instead of adding them to the tag list of the post you're uploading like they're meant to) so I decided to just post the image without tags and add them afterwards like with a video upload, since those functions *do* work correctly when editing existing posts. This has resulted in me automatically being made unable to post since the system thinks I was being a jerk and trying to upload images without any tags.

I'm sorry I made that mistake, but you understand why it was a very easy one to make, with the broken predictive typing/My Tags systems still present, making it a chore to manually type in tags when uploading images, and the inconsistency between how video and image uploads work.

Did some backend upgrades, let us know if there are any issues with saving tag edits, uploading images/videos or viewing videos/images. I'll be looking at upgrading other features of the site as time permits. Thanks!

Recently I've had problems with some of my video uploads being randomly cut short, even if they're well within the 1 minute/100MB upload rule/restriction.

Example: realbooru.com/index.php?p...6801&tags=user:Zomdra

This was a 1 minute, 22MB video that had the last 12 seconds inexplicably cut off when I uploaded it here.

Edit: Oh, and while I'm here, given I just reached 500 posts, it's...disappointing for the options page to only let you know the "disable ads" function is unavailable *after* you reach one of the requirements for it...

I had to restart our web server software a few times during the upgrade process, it's possible you uploaded it during a time I ran a reset and it removed the last 12 seconds.

I believe the account page has always shown it's disabled currently, as it was a holdover from a past version of modified code I didn't write, and it wasn't working.

I see, thanks for the explanations. Sorry if the options page did always show that the ad disabler wasn't going to be available, I may have just overlooked the message. In any case, I notice it's been removed from that menu now which is for the best, thanks. Ads don't actually bother me much anyway so I'm sorry I got a little snippy about it in my last comment, that was uncalled for.

Anytime i go on a video that is favourited, the video doesn’t play and just shows a black screen, any chance this could get fixed?

Same issue as above.
I have the feeling that this issue is limited to videos posted before the upgrades made on the 18th since newer videos are loading just fine.

I'll take another look at what's going on here. Let me now if it's working now.

Hi, sorry if this isn't an issue or was resolved already.

I normally use booru reader apps on my phone, just because I find it easier to navigate, and have been recently been having issues with this site specifically. I normally use AnimeBox, but started getting some errors in the past few days. almost no videos will load, saying "Error: Source error", and most of the older pictures will simply refuse to load. there are some random older pictures that do load, but I haven't been able to ascertain why specific images will load.

At first I thought it was simply an issue with the app collecting the data correctly from the site, so I tried using Booru Nav and Flexbooru, but none of them seem to be working either.

Again, sorry if I'm just being dumb or if it's something obvious, I just haven't had any issues until this past week so was trying to figure out what might be the problem.

Hello. I've been trying to upload some photos for a couple of days and everytime y hit upload it gives me a 502 error.

the API is currently returning bad file URLs for webms, causing them to fail to load. It also appears older images also have bad URLs.

A working url looks like this:
realbooru.com/images/6f/9...b4bdb306abbfa4924ee2.jpeg

But the API is returning this: realbooru.com/images//933020023cbfa0da1b6fe6ce2e65b737.webm

Manually editing the URL to be:
realbooru.com/images/93/3...a0da1b6fe6ce2e65b737.webm

Gets the image to load. Any chance of a fix? Thanks.

bumping the API issues

When navigating with imgbrd-grabber, I can't actually view any files older than about 2/19/2022, only the thumbnail. It says the image isn't found on the server. I assume this has to do with the aforementioned API issues?
