I've been trying to post a video but everytime i click the post videos option on my screen it takes me to my account page

You need a minimum amount of posts before you can post a video. I think it's something like 10 posts? It's not very much.

Definitely this! You will be locked or even banned if you upload videos without tags.

Just because you can't add the tags on the video upload page (like you do with images or GIFs) doesn't mean the video posts don't need tags...just tag them after you upload.
